Call for papers

The Forum is carried out under the aegis of the CEFRACOR Materials Biodeterioration Commission every 18 months and aims to present the latest work on topics related to the biodeterioration of materials and their mechanisms with in particular:

• biodeterioration/biocorrosion of materials (mechanisms, durability of materials, test methods, etc.);
• the proliferation of microorganisms and the deleterious impacts on the performance of materials and their structures
• microbial proliferation on materials and their health impacts;
• microbial alteration of works of art or archaeological remains;
• the positive effects of microorganisms (biodeposition, bio-healing, etc.);
• improving the bio-receptivity of materials for various applications (plant walls, reefs, etc.).
